I use this thing more often then I should, even just checking my batteries to make sure they are charged. The Professional series speaks for itself, and the charger is from Schumacher! I've always been a fan of Schumacher Electric, and their products. They're one of the big names in the battery charger industry from way back when, and their new products do not disappoint me at all. I've been in the market for a great battery charger, on wheels, with enough power to jump start my F150 incase I leave my lights on (again). This charger / booster has all the features I need, and some of that I'm not using yet but might someday! The booster with give you an extra shot of 250 amps, to help roll over that dead battery / Engine to get you started when you need to get on the road in a hurry and hope your car will charge the battery the rest of the way. It also has a 150, 50, 6, and a 2 amp trickle charge for both 12v and 6 volt batteries. I know everyone thinks a battery is a battery, but it's important to have a charger that knows the difference between a 12v (car) battery and a 6v (think lawn tractor) battery. This thing is professional enough to know the difference! Do I have any complaints? I don't think it's a perfect product, there are things I would change. My biggest complaint, is the short cord length. The cord going from the unit to the 110v wall plug is fairly short. I'm going to estimate 3 - 4 ft. It's nothing too crazy as I can always use an extension cord to get it where I need to be, but it would be nice to have about 4 more ft or so. Beyond that, sometimes the touch panel is a little weird, especially in the cold and with gloves on Overall, it's a GREAT charger, that would be a welcome addition to anyone's home, office, or shop. It will charge your car, your truck, or your lawn tractor without a worry in the world.

Ironically, the same day we got this starter, we needed to use it. It comes needing minimal assembly. Basically just adding wheels to the base. Really quick. The control panel is self explanatory. There's even an auto charge, if its connected but you've forgotten to hit the START button. Perfect for when you're charging a battery not connected to a vehicle. Instructions were easy to follow. No more knocking on neighbors doors for help! Don't misunderstand, this is a professional battery charger. Its heavy, but easy to roll from garage to vehicle. And its powerful! My brother does appliance installation and drivers a 27foot truck. He needed help charging his truck. I didnt know if my Proseries could handle such a large vehicle. IT WORKED!!! Not only was it a life saver for me, but for him too.

My order came broken the cords were stretched a broke could see wires it was hat up on arrival falling out of box from fedex and it's original box and no wheels came with it. Was told 48hrs my replacement would arrive still no replacement recover original and sent back on January 23! I don't recommend at all and customer service sucks!

Did not work as advertised. Was not charging and no error code was ever displayed and % of battery charged never appeared. Tried it on different batteries with same result. Returned it. Very disappointed.
