What I like most about this charger is that it doesn't stop charging when it detects battery sulfation because that doesn't always mean it's a bad battery.

Well built with quality features. Seems built to last.

Works well, good instructions. Overall very pleased with purchase.

The last Schumacher charger I had lasted for 20 years. I hope this unit will do the same.

Good product but returned as I found the one I have.

Another case of an open box being shipped as new. No manual a clearly used item with the manufacturers box with holes punched into the box. It really gets old, I am a caregiver for a stroke victim, and I cannot leave the home easily without rotating in trained personnel to take care of the patient. I almost took a sledgehammer to it, but that would not do the same as this review. I just needed to mow the lawn. I tried it on a fully charged battery and partially charged batter and three different ac wall outlets. Yes, I metered the sockets and on even shared it with and already lit lamp.

Out of the box is a clean rugged charger with strong solid battery clips. I plugged it in and hooked up my marine deep cycle battery after a day of use. The charger came on and started charging, but the charger overcharged the battery and would not stop. I unplugged the charger when the battery became hot and the electrolyte was boiling. The second time I used it, came the smell of rotten eggs from the battery during charging. The green light on the charger indicated that the charging was complete, but it kept boiling the battery and the battery was hot despite the green complete charge indicator light being on. This charger is junk, it will destroy batteries, I am returning the charger to Walmart. I do not recommend this charger.
