As a family we always bring a loaf of Schwebel's Giant White Bread to our dinner table to enjoy with dinner. The slices are hearty but not heavy. it tastes great wrapped around hot dogs, for grilled cheese, cold sandwiches, as toast or french toast, for stuffing and so much more.

The giant loaf size is great value for the price, and it's perfect for families or for stocking up. I've been using it for sandwiches, and it holds up well to fillings without getting soggy.

I get my groceries delivered,I am disabled and do not drive. the bread delivered is not as fresh as if I bought it in the store.

Best bread at half price of big brands. Tastes great, soft, but the added chemicals are it's only downside

If you are wanting Wonder Bread, don't substitute for this. Loaf was not fresh to me but it was not expired.

I always buy Schwebel's bread and this is the first time I've ever had an issue in my 35 years of shopping but the middle of the entire loaf was gross. Ever bake bread and cut into it while it's still hot and it kinda stays doughy? It was like that all stuck together weird. I had to toss 2/3 of it out from being unusable. The few pieces at both ends were salvageable sorta but I really didn't have much choice I needed it at the moment. I'll buy it again because I've never had this experience before but at almost $4 a loaf I sure hope I don't have the issue again!!
