Schwinn 26-in. EC1 Unisex Cruiser Electric Bike for Adults, Throttle, Black Ebike

I like the price, the frame geometry, that it has disc breaks and 26 inch tires ..like i mentioned its a great platform to customize and build to your preferences...been riding it for a month now and it works perfectly for my needs...commute about 10 miles daily mid Missouri town riding mixture of flat and hills i shift through the 7 speed and adjust through the 5 speed assistance controls with some throttle mainly on take off average 35 miles a charge ..i weight 160 pounds and ride it faily hard ..i would rate it 5 stars for my needs thinking about buying another one for my daughter!!!

Well packaged item,no problems with assemble,quality control(everything works so far).

impressed by the appearance, dual dis, brakes, sturdy feel, and balance of the bike. Coasts well and far when you get off of the throttle or pedals. Very impressed by how far the battery was able to take me and the bike is extremely lightweight compared to all my other e-bikes.

my husband who is mechanically inclined was able to put the bike together in a couple of hours. The controls are very easy to learn and the amount of choices for assist and pedaling are excellent. the bikes seem very sturdy. I got an extra wide back seat for mine but my husband likes the one that came with the bike.

the only issue i had with this bike is that the front wheel is offset by half a centimeters or so which is noticeable while riding but you can compensate for it after a while. other than that and the lack of assembly tools in the box, the bike is perfect for short distance commuting to work or for leisure. the range for using only the throttle is around 20 miles and about 25 if using assist mode. the top speed of 20mph is a little unfortunate but it pulls well with plenty of torque. worth the 400$ if you plan on riding it for about 3 months minimum as a commuter. ( compared to insurance and car payments)

I have a lot of trouble with the accesories. The front fender was crooked and I had to remove it so the front wheel will fit. The reflectors of the wheels were broke. Bad quality of the accessories in general

The bike is sold as big enough for a six foot tall man and the seat adjusted high enough, but the handle bars are not adjustable at all .... so they should send an extension with the bike. Otherwise the bike is great with it's small 250 w motor i still have to work as some hills are just too much. The battery does seem to lose charge quicker than advertised. Very sturdy bike, just need higher handle bars for taller people so they don't feel like they're on some kind of ancient oriental torture device.:)

The bike looked great out of the box but I couldn't put it together because the front fork was out of alignment. The left was 3/4 inch more forward than the right. I had to return it (which is pain getting it back in the box and back to the store). I read the reviews for other Schwinn ebike - not the unisex one - and that one had many negative reviews for this same issue. I was hoping this one would be okay. It looked cool enough that I ordered another one and my fingers are crossed the new one doesn't have the same issue. If it does, I'll be dragging that one back to Walmart and buying another brand.

Bike arrived with broken electrical system. Customer service was terrible. Lon told me it was not Schwinns fault. Lifetime warranty didn't work because they don't make the parts. I didn't even own it one day.
