Good assembly instructions. It took about 1.5 hours to put together. The controls are simple, but adequate. I didn't want to pay for fancy stuff I would never use. I use it mostly for lower resistance levels and it works great. I think someone that wants high resistance all the time might want a different model. The seat is comfortable for about the first 30 minutes of my workout. If I go longer, it starts to feel a little hard. I may get a gel cover for it. It is compact, but still seems quite sturdy. I haven't had it long enough to speak of it's reliability. Overall, a great bike for the cost.
Very well packaged when shipped. Excellent assembly instructions - easy assembly, took half hour to unpack and assemble!! Very substantial product, well made, great quality. Highly recommended. I did not need a unit with excessive features - this is perfect. Good purchase.
Very satisfied with this purchase. It exceeds my expectations. Like others, I can no longer go to the gym and work out due to Covid-19, and I expect this to be the case for some time to come. I'm moving across country this summer and didn't want to spend a lot on a bike I couldn't take with me. This bike gets the job done and is an excellent buy for the money. It's sturdy. It was reasonably easy to put together (see video online on how assemble). The seat is sorta hard and I've ordered a gel seat cover. Meanwhile, I'm using a blue gel freezer thing you put on your body for inflammation to cushion the seat. That also lifts the front of the seat up and takes the hand pressure off the handlebars. I weigh 132 pounds; it's rated to carry someone who weighs a lot more. Although I was planning on buying a $600 fan bike when I moved, this bike fulfills my needs, and now I think I may take this bike with me rather than buy another bike.
this bike is smooth and solid. It takes up little floor space, has plenty of levels of tension and is a great piece to add to our home gym. Even though it seems easy when you start, the longer you're at it the more you realize what a great workout it gives. Also easy to assemble.
I love this bike. At a younger age, I did spin, ride 20 miles on my Trek. Now I'm older but want to not worry about balance, keep joints moving, and put less stress on hips and knees. The gym is closed but I was there 3-4 times a week swimming, recumbent bike and the weights. I'm 72 and still able to maintain a fitness regime. I can't hold the 10 mikes I see to or cycle thd 20 miles, but this bike allows me the "new reality" and I'm thrilled!
I have frequently used recumbent bikes in gyms and this one is every bit as good as any of those! It's most fabulous feature is that it is so easy to get on. I've used some that required dislocation of a hip to get on and off! Because I'm 66 and with precious little tech knowledge, I don't have the entire bike figured out yet, but will!
Bike while you watch Netflix or play video games. I forget I'm biking and will watch entire movies and bike 20 miles. This is the best recumbent exercise bike on the market. I have read all of the reviews and done the research. I have bought two of these bikes over the years and only bought the second because I moved states and had to leave it behind.
The temperature starting to get cooler and I'm not much for running outside once the temperature dips below 5 degrees Celsius.. for the last two and a half weeks I've been riding this bike daily. Absolutely no complaints, took me about 45 minutes to assemble. And the rest is history if you're looking just to stay fit get a good cardio workout in I definitely recommend. Very sturdy, very quiet when pedaling, all the resistance is electronic as well.
When I work out at the gym I regularly use a bike. Given the current state of affairs I wanted to have a quality product that I could use at home. A friend of mine was always talking about how if enjoyed his Schwinn so I thought I would give it a chance---I was not disappointed! My wife and I both enjoy using it. If we want a long or quick workout it it always there--a quality, sturdy machine, that quite frankly was an enjoyable project (1 hour) to assemble. My neighbor was looking at it and is considering purchasing one for his wife.
This is the second schwinn a10 I have had in the last few years. The first one lasted about 3 months and the belt frayed and broke. The second one took 4 months to get and now the bearings are messed up and won't pedal smoothly. I don't even ride it everyday. So far this model is a piece of junk.
