The Schwinn Elite GTX is an excellent bike. Easy to put together, rides nice and smooth. Everything works as it should. It is a big bike (29") and also looks super cool in the black and gold color livery. The price was great as well. - since it was on sale when I purchased it. I'm sure there are more expensive and competitive bikes out there, but this one works for me and my needs. To exercise and get out and hit the trails. You won't go wrong with this bike. The bike surprised me. I bought the bike because I needed a second bike to keep at my other house that I only visit a few days a month. I was not expecting to like it better than my road bike, but I do. The hybrid is smoother riding on the paved roads where I live and the riding position is much more comfortable. The only upgrade I made to the bike was that I replaced the pedals with pedals that have steel pins to better grip my Vans shoes, but even the factory paddles are okay. Oh, thank you Schwinn for already having the gearing adjusted. I was saving that as the last item to-do after putting on the front tire, seat, and handlebars. I was not expecting that the Shimano would be set, but it was! Thank you for that.

This bike has everything I was looking for, click shifting gears, front suspension, and versatility.

Very nice bike. Very light. I've got to get used to it, I'm used to beach cruiser type bikes, plus I'm older than dirt. I bought the bike as a form of exercise and to keep moving.
