This bike is really pretty . It was easy to assemble and I even got it on a sale price. It is very reliable as I use it every day for work. It even fits in your car. People at work said it's cute. 😊
My foldable bike gave me a lot more independence. I had to constantly ask my husband to attach the bike rack to our CRV which require the perfect convinient time for him. Now I load my two girls bikes, my foldable bike and off we go to the park or beach.
Schwinn of course is well known name in bikes. If is very convenient for taking on vacation, since we can fold them and put them in the motor home. As I stated this is the second one, the first one was for me and this one is for my husband. Luckily we know the bike since the Wal-Mart site shows it as a SINGLE speed when actually it is a 7 (seven) speed. So we ordered it because we knew better then them.
My husband wanted a folding bike to save on space when we travel in our rv. After looking at less expensive bikes, I chose this one largely because of the Schwinn Brand. The bicycle came on time from Walmart and was already mainly assembled. He loves this bike!! It takes him everywhere and is so small, just as he wanted!! Although it looks like it should be for a child, it fits his 5' 11" frame just fine!! Other people liked it so much that they also ordered one!
I was surprised at the strong structure of the unit....It is just right to pick up & place in my SUV..it is a little heavy, but compared having to stuff a 24" or 26" in the back, I'd prefer to pick up this bike. It is good for my height & age. I haven't ridden it yet on my bike run because it needs to be loosened up where it folds & I have taken it to the bike place to get oiled & loosened & adjusted..I am anxious to get on the trail come Thursday when I pick it up..thanks & yes like it for my size. This is the second folding bike I have purchased, and although the first one is great for my husband, this one is ideal for me with the step through feature. It was basically assembled when it arrived and just had to be unfolded and locked in place.
I have no garage, just a small storage shed, and this fits in the shed without having to be folded, although folding couldn't be easier. First ride was a bit strange, as it is so compact the pedals are almost under the seat if the seat is really low (I'm VERY short), and the steering is VERY responsive. Handlebars are a bit strange but it only took one ride to get comfortable with them, and I love the bike. Shifting is easy, braking is good although I had to move the front wheel a bit to get the brakes even. If you buy this also buy a more comfortable seat as all the other reviewers have suggested. Very sturdy, very good looking.
Not the highest quality bike, but suits my purposes fine. It is still good quality and the price is very reasonable. It is easy to assemble when received. You just unfold it and tighten the connections by hand, then install one pedal with a wrench and away you go. If you get the seat adjusted properly, it is comfortable enough. You do ore pedaling on a 20" wheel bike but the portability is worth it. Great delivery service. I ordered on the weekend and it was on my porch the following Friday!
I was really excited to get this bike. Best price saved me nearly $80 under other online stores. Handsome design (my youngest son said it was cool!) Easy to unpack and one component to assemble (attratched right pedal). The rest was just unfolding the bike and locking into positions. Unfortunately, the latching bolt for the handlebars was bent. I don't know if this was poor quality control, or if this happened during shipping site-to-store. No time to wait for replacement part or new bike, so I returned it store for refund. I read various reviews and this defect appears to be common, but I would take a chance to purchase again if timing permitted.
Picked up this bike from my local Walmart store via ship to store process. I saw no damage to the outside of the shipping box upon receipt at the store. I took the bike home, opened the box, removed all of the shipping foam and other protective materials from the bike's frame and begin assembling the few parts that required assembly. I get to the handle bar where it connects to the frame and discover that the heaviest and most solid metal piece of the bike is so bent that it could not be connected as directed by the instructions. This bike was intended as a gift for my daughter, but I had to inform her that I would have to return this bike to Walmart and purchase a new one from somewhere else. Because now I have lost any faith in ordering items from Walmart online and their ship to store system. This wasted two weeks of my time and effort and disappointed both myself and my daughter.
