Nice bike goes together with little effort. Only issue made in China
Great bike.. Good deal @ walmart!
Awesome bike, pleasantly surprising big wheels and stoning design. Great bike for a great price.
Its a couple of days so far. Very good quality. Easy to assemble. It took me 45 mins to assemble. lots of things are already assembled, you just need to assemble front wheel, seat
I am a member of survey company and can tell you not all are scams. I received a Schwinn sidewinder mountain bike free to test and give my feedback on it. Well I was not so sure how rusty my assembly skills were. I soon found out that it was easy to put together. and it was a sturdy as anyone would want. We were surprised how well the boys were able to ride up hill are even steeper incline. I would highly recommend this bike and as far as I know the entire brand are great bikes.
This is not a BAD bike, if it is assembled and tuned after breaking it in. It's not a GREAT bike either. I purchased this bike because I'm 35 and wanted to get into mountain biking after learning there were riding trails in my area. I hadn't ridden an actual bicycle since I was a kid. My friends took me to the trail which I quickly learned was for more intermediate and advanced riders. But she kept me stable as I learned the layout.. I've gone a few times now and each time, my confidence builds. I haven't dumped her yet but had a TON of close calls. From catching stumps that sounded like they popped my tire, to root-laden downhill descents where I was pretty much just along for the ride.... this bike remained true. I am ready for an upgrade now, but this bike was on point. Pros: Cheap Durable (if you aren't extreme) Easy to assemble Stable Brakes Fun to learn on Cons: Heavy Tuning Small tires Twist shifters (thumb muscle will burn!) Limited capabilities
i had this bike for 2 years i did well all the way until the end the problem with the bike is that the chain rings would not hold on to the chain a on the last day the chain cover snapped of because the chain hit it when snapping of. basically the only problems where the chain and chain cover was weak also i don't go on trails just fast bike riding.
I gave it 2 stars because the bike is not completely bad, once we fixed it, it works. The problem was when we were putting together the bike one tire was deflated and we discovered that the valve was broken. My problem is that I had to spend more money to replace the broken part . For the price I paid I was hoping for good quality.
The bike has fallen apart within months of use. Firstly, it arrived with the back tire reversed. The pedals came off mid ride and looked stripped. It couldn't be reattached. Handlebars are falling off plus the brakes continue to squeal. The chain also clicks a bunch while pedaling.
I picked-up the box from the store, no one was available to assemble the bike, when I opened the box at home, one nut from the front wheel was missing, I returned the bike to the store, didn't have a chance to try it, no one from the customer service helped me, they just told me to return it.
