Working great. As others pointed out, it definitely as a more gunmetal look than the original silver look that could be found 10 years ago. Regardless, it works perfectly and compliments my desk nicely as I work. Note: for first use, I suggest letting it cook for about 4-6 hours. The more you use these things, the quicker they are to heat up.

If you are a fan of the way sunlight looks as it reflects off of ripples on the water's surface, you will love this lamp. The reflections cast onto the ceiling by the glitter in this lamp looks just like that. So lovely and soothing.

Just like my old one! The only issue I have with this is the silver finish. It's more of a gunmetal finish than the old silver ones. Definitely darker than pictures show. Beyond that the lamp looks great and works perfectly. The first cycle took a while but the second cycle worked much better and faster.

Arrived with shattered glass. Packaged poodly. Additionally, I would say the “holographic” decal on the base is unimpressive and looks cheap. Unfortunately I never got to see the lava/ liquid… On to the next one! Good luck, cheers, and happy blobbing to all!! 🫠

Didn't work. Thought maybe bulb but after purchasing new bulb found out that wasn't the problem. My grandson will be bring back to exchange. Hopefully better luck with the next one.

The wax turned yellow, the wax stays at the top of the bottle, its like a lava lamp thats been used for a couple years or more. i feel bad for giving a bad review with out returning it for another one, i didn't want to go thru all that trouble and the next one does the same thing.

You will be disappointed if you buy this lava lamp. The first one shipped was so cloudy you couldn't see the wax at all. Returned it and was shipped a replacement. The second one was the exact same. Do some research on this company and you will see they have had QC problems for years. Don't buy it.

Lamp would turn on, and wax would melt but could barely be seen through the ultra cloudy purple liquid in it. I called the manufacturer, Schylling, and was advised to turn it on, let it warm up, and then shut it off at intervals throughout the day for a few days. This didn't work. The lamp is still as cloudy as the first day I plugged it in, so I am returning it and have ordered the ORIGINAL Lava Lamp. The real deal. They are rated in the top five of all lava lamps. Don't waste your money or time on the one by Schylling!

The device is a replacement for one exactly like it. I used it for a year and it stopped working. I bought the new one (all from Walmart) and it would never clear up. Cloudy and unpleasant to look at. I've returned it.
