I bought these for my dorm room and hung them around the ceiling, they look great, especially at night. I don't know how it would look outside or on a tree, but they work great for what I use them for.

Love these lights and how easy they were to put on my classroom tree for Valentine's Day. The brightness was surprising, and they worked well with the twinkling white lights. Like these more than the traditional lights.
