SCISSORS SINGL RING METAL 11IN

I love these scissors, I have sharpened them myself and had them sharpened professionally, they have been faithful shears for about two years now. I have the old style that don't have the teeth in the handles, showing their age the spring has finally reached terminal K value and snapped right in the middle. Right now they are heading towards retirement unless I can source replacement a spring. PLEASE SELL ME A SPRING!

one of each generation, the version before these and the version after are good but these ones with glue cap openers are my favorite but I haven't been able to find them in stores, only the most recent version. I convinced the boss to purchase these as well, three pairs of the spring loaded and four or five pairs of the non spring. We have them all sharpened annually, I lost my version one and two so I only have the most recent version (i'm still crying about losing version number two), have broken three or four springs but Wiss sent me a big bag of them for free. A couple have broken immediately but doesn't matter when you have a lifetime amount of springs. The only thing I would change about them is the locking mechanism. It is all plastic and when an idiot forces them open because they don't know how they work the plastic gives way and they don't stay shut anymore, it should be all metal. I've considered soldering back some metal to get a nice corner lock back but haven't actually tried it.

Bought this a year ago for HVAC trade. Used for cutting insulation, vinyl tape, tape, boxes, cards, paper, wires, etc... My go to tool but the lock doesn't lock anymore and I'm super sad, lol. It is unsafe to carry because the spring is still functional. Wish they would improve the plastic lock reciever to metal so it'll last longer. That is my only gripe. Other than that fantastic tool.
