Scooby-Doo: Mask of the Blue Falcon (DVD)

A fun film full of great Hanna Barbera characters

I ordered it for my brother. He is a huge Scooby doo fan. Of course he loved it!

It came fairly quickly from when I ordered. My kids are huge Scooby-Doo fans and this was perfect to add to collection.

We just rented this one on PPV. All of the new Scooby-Doo movies are excellent (save for one or two) and this one is no exception. It's definitely made for the late 30's/early 40's crowd, even though it has a TV-Y rating, because the kids have no idea who half of the characters referenced in this film even are, save for Mystery Inc. Hanna-Barbara uses their extensive character history as fodder here as Scooby and the gang try to solve a mystery at the California Comic Convention, involving the upcoming Blue Falcon reboot (hint: Hollywood took Blue Falcon and made him Batman Begins, etc). The whole movie is fantastic, and if you remember all of the characters referenced in this, it's even better. What a wonderful piece of modern nostalgia.

This movie was really fun! I really enjoyed seeing Shaggy & Scooby taking some initiative and finding suspects for the case as well as a stand for what they believed. It was fun to see all the characters at the convention & how they acted there as well as all the various characters people were dressed up as like Fred from the Flintstones.
