I installed this on my car for easy access to my phone (gps and audio purposes) while driving. Setup is easy and the device is held firmly in place. I think the product would be better if it had a piece of plastic to hold the bottom of the phone for added stability. That is not enough to drop my rating, just a modification that I would have made.
The Scosche telescoping extendo mount is the best mount I have owned. It was easy to install on my dash. The phone grip keeps it snuggly in place. The telescoping is great and I can easily reach and see my phone . It is great when I use my maps or listening to podcasts or music.
This is by far one of the best phone holders out on the market. As long as you have enough of a flat surface for the base. This will be the 3rd one I have purchased for my new car and the other 2 are doing great still in my other vehicles for over 3 years now. It provides great flexibility in positioning and range for reach as I am much taller than my wife she can extend it as needed to reach easier.
This is a nice hands free device that can be placed in any vehicle. The arm itself is adjustable can be moved in any direction that suits your style. It has an adhesive mounting pad that holds firmly without slipping. You can attach to the windshield as long as it does not block your view. The dashboard for easy reach. If you need something that is house useful it works well on a desk. It has a tightly gripping head that holds nearly any phone style. It can also hold GPS devices if you see fit rather than a cell phone. As always pay attention and do not hold the phone while driving. I would recommend.
This Scosche mount is the best I've used! It holds the phone securely, while not being too difficult remove quickly; just twist your phone slightly sideways to pop the phone out. The suction cups holds flawlessly and has never accidently popped off. The movement of the arms and telescoping works perfectly for a customized position. The gloss black color looks really nice and pairs great with the piano black trim in my car.
This is a great thing to have in your vehicle. It holds just about any size of phone. It's adjustable and well made for a plastic mount. It was a little challenging to get the ball into the socket. But that may just be me. I'm a weakling. Lol. I was afraid i might break it but it is solid enough. Listen folks. This may save a life. No talking on your phone while driving. I've done it too may times myself. BUY THIS MOUNT! It's perfect!
Okay, so I have two vehicles - one has Apple Carplay, one does not. I got this for the car that does not have Apple Carplay that way I can have better access to my phones navigation when I'm driving. I don't know if it was becase of how my dahsboard was or what, but it took about four or five tries to get this to stick to my dashboard properly. For reference, I have a Honda Odyssey. Anyways, after thoroughly cleaning my dashboard and then again cleaning down the mount for this, I got a decent suction and haven't had any issues since. Also, I Have a larger screen phone and a heavy duty case. This mount holds my phone with ease! Something I couldn't say about the last mount I had.
Assembly couldn't be easier! Just attach to vent or dashboard and your ready to go. This is the first phone holder that I've owned that can be attached to multiple surfaces. The sides adjusts to enable perfect fit for any size phone. Device has stayed in place without falling or moving from original location. I'm very happy with this mount.
I have a set of these mounts in my older car which have been stuck to the windshiled for two years. I liked them so much that I bought two more for my new car but the new ones stay on the window for a couple of hours then it falls off onto the floor. Maybe the suction mount is different or quality control went away. I am trying to figure out a way to make them suction better otherwise I will return.
If I didn't throw the box away I would have probably taken this back to Walmart. The instructions weren't very clear, and it doesn't stick to my dashboard. I don't know if it's due to the product or the surface of my dash, the product images show it mounted to a window in one picture and mounted to the dash in another. The product will stick to the dash but it's not sturdy enough to support holding a phone. If I put my phone in it, it all falls down.
