Love it

thegk June 9, 2014

I can listen to podcasts and webinars in more than one room in the house. Just plug this transmitter into the headphone jack of my laptop, set it to an unused fm frequency and tune my radios to that frequency. A simple and inexpensive way to listen to audio from my pc all over the house. I also use one in the car to listen to my audio player. Very cool.

Works great, exceeded expectations! Is was just like listening to the radio my car! I even used inside on a radio and worked great too! I went on a 2hr road trip and never even had to mess with changing the freqeuncy! I would so recommend! I wish I would have known about this little gadget the last few years it would have saved me some boring rides with boring music on the radio!!! A+A+A+A+A+A+

The latest in fm technology at an unbelievable $

Technonuts June 16, 2014

I had been searching for an fm transmitter with 21st century technology. I also didn't want one that requires a cigarette lighter outlet. It took a lot of searching and this was the lone winner and at an under a 20 dollar price. No static and great sound quality finish out what I consider the best fm transmitter available.

Unit that uses 2 AA batteries is not available.

TomWorks June 30, 2013

Two similar units were shown online. One has 14 frequencies using 2 AA batteries and had the highest rating. I bought it. The other had 20 freqs uses 2 AAA batteries. My thinking was that AA batteries will last longer than AAA and 14 freqs is plenty. What I received was the AAA version. I kept it and went to the Scosche website where I ordered the AA version. Again, I received the AAA version. I called. They were nice and said they don't make the AA. Long story short, buy the other one - AAA. Battery life is claimed to be 15 hours in use. 45 days in standby. It's a very good unit.

Very impressive

HolyDiver April 26, 2016

I was very impressed with the sound quality, especially when compared to other transmitters I have used. Excellent price for an awesome device. The only thing that would make it better would be an auto - off feature when the device is unplugged, but the current setup works great. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Performance betrays price

LRRifleman January 15, 2011

This little transmitter, found in the automotive department is quite surprising. On a recent trip, it palyed almost non-stop for more than 14 hours on 2 AA batteries, and the sound quality wsa impressive. Dollar for dollar, this was a sound purchase and very entertaining.

Exactly what I wanted!

Kerrie October 6, 2016

I purchased 2 of these, 1 for me & 1 for my fiancé since my aux is broken & he doesn't have an aux port. They are perfect! I love the fact this doesn't plug into my lighter hole instead is battery operated. As long as you make sure to turn it off when you're done using it then you don't have to change the batteries too often.

Solid Value and Performance

Fuddledinker April 19, 2014

I have an older car with CD player that sometimes skips. For long trips I enjoy listening to books and music. However, when CD starts skipping, especially while listening to a book, this can be frustrating. I purchased this to plug into my MP3 player, so I could avoid the CD issues. It works well. The biggest drawback is interference from cell phones in the car. With 3 other passengers texting messages, the noise was annoying. This would have been the perfect device, had I been alone. Tips for use: 1) Turn off all unneeded cell phones (or leave the cell phone users at home). 2) Find an open frequency on the radio that matches one of the 20 available on the device. An open frequency plays nothing but static. 3) Select the matching frequency on the device. 4) Adjust the volume on your MP3 player (or other player) to the loudest setting. You will get the clearest results this way. 5) Adjust the volume of the radio. 6) If the sounds begins to cut in and out or has interference, you may need to switch frequencies.

Works the way it is intended

CodyAd January 19, 2014

Unfortunately this was a last minute purchase. We rented a vehicle that did not have any Bluetooth or Audio inputs whatsoever. With that said I wanted an economical solution to be able to have music played over the radio. The good is the unit worked even for some radio stations that were very high power this unit easily powered through and didn't have a whole lot of interference. The bad -- the audio cable that plugs into the phone is very cheaply made. Every time the cable is moved it caused static on the station. I resolved the static issue by using a better grade audio extension cable to plug into the phone and it resolved that problem. The other negative is you are required to have a cable extending from the device you want music from so if that is your mobile device you have to pull the cable to talk on the phone. If you want to listen to music and you have a device this is perfect. This unit required two AA batteries.

Just ab right.

The cassette player in my radio doesn't work any longer. I didn't want to spend money on a car stereo for an older car that I might not have for much longer. I was skeptical about using a transmitter. I purchased the this particular model based on the quantity of positive reviews. I don't like that it is battery powered ,but I felt this was an even trade off for the positive reviews. There are no instructions included, so you have to figure it out on your own. After opening the package ,I was able to quickly find two stations to use . I'm able to use just one for my daily commute. I work in Dallas and live about a hour north of Dallas. I am a little concerned about the quality based on the reviews. We will see how durable this is product is ,since I use it daily. So far I have been very pleased. I will update review if there are issues with the durability.
