Easy to work with

These speaker adapters fit great and improve sound quality. I originally mounted my aftermarket speakers directly in the door frames with sheet metal screws. The sound quality was terrible compared to the stock speakers! After re-installing with these adapters, the sound was exceptional, especially the bass, and they eliminated all rattling. I did have to remove a mounting tab on each of the parts that interfered with the door panels.

Bought these for my chevy cobalt. had to get screws and nuts to mount the speaker to the bracket but after that the speaker fit. one thing i wish is that screws for mounting the speakers were included. For all chey cobalt's removal of the side tabs is needed. after that perfect fit

i do like the brackets but the lip on the inside made it very difficult to assembly fit into and mounts in my chevy cruze and onto other speakers. its def worth it if it fits your car but i think it will be difficult. the wall is thinner as wrll compared to others.

Used these to install new speakers in my '08 extended cab Silverado. They work great on the front doors, but they are a little short on the back doors. Because of this, they don't fit as snug and may rattle a little bit. I suggest using some double-sided tape to keep them in place. Other than that, they fit into the factory holes without any modification using the existing factory screw. I used Pioneer 1675r 6 3/4" speakers and they fit just fine in this bracket, but unable to use Pioneer speaker covers because of added depth.

its just made out of plastic. they probably would break if you were a little rough with them
