Scotch 845 Book Tape, Crystal Clear, 2" x 15 yards, 3" Core

I've gotten this product more than once. It's sturdier than packing tape and doesn't peel up easily at all. Great for spines of books or interior of books that have gotten a lot of wear and tear. I fix many of my kids' books using this tape instead of tossing them.

This is good quality, sturdy tape that I bought to save and preserve an old favorite cookbook and a few other books that are treasures. The tape is more study than packing tape, cuts cleaner and holds the broken spine of the book/s very nicely.

Having little hands turn pages as they read books makes the books fall apart year after year. To save money instead of buy new books, I use the Scotch Book Tape to tape the pages and book covers when they are torn. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I'm the librarian at my house, and Scotch Book Tape has saved the life of many a book here! This tape is great for giving extra strength to the spine of that favorite paperback book. I have a lot of children's books that have been used over the years. Most of these books had covers that were hanging on by a thread. I needed to repair them so my 2 year old could use them. I have used this tape for years! It's so durable and all-purpose! I always kept rolls of it in my desk when I was a teacher and I still use it now that I'm retired. I wouldn't think of being without it.

Worked well and was clear so you could still see the title on the book.

Wish width was wider, not much different from packing tape. Slightly disappointed.

Basically clear box tape. Shiny finish; should be matte or clothbound.
