Scotch Advanced Thermal Laminator TL1302X, 13" Wide, 1 Machine

I love being able to laminate my own lists. I've laminated my daily To Do List, then I can use (and reuse) it like a dry erase board. It saves me from having to rewrite them every day. I also laminate cross-stitch and crochet patterns so that I can mark off rows as I finish them, then reuse the patterns if I want to make something again. This is a very easy laminator to use, so it makes everything else easier.

This little machine gets the job done. I work at a church and we have been using it alot. Works great, warms up really fast. I have been pleased with this machine.

My older machine died …it took a long time to warm up. This warms up and ready to go in one minute. It is lighter than the old one. I ran 20 pieces through it in no time at all.

It didn't consistently laminate my pages. A lot of my papers separated from the laminated film. Very frustrating. But I think I got a lemon laminator. I returned it. I did like the wide insertion capability so I will buy another one soon and hope that the new one will work perfectly.

They didn't have this product in store and sent it to my house free shipping but when it was delivered they left at my front gate and the box and tape was damaged thankfully I was home when I received the notification so I got to my package before anyone else got to pick it up.

I ordered the laminator that has the 13” input but was sent the one with 9” input. The one I received works well but I am disappointed that WalMart cheated me.

I'm hugely disappointed that the received unit is clearly an undisclosed open-box return - and *scratched* (see picture). Seller: How do you plan on making this right? That's a one-star rating... ***Come to think of it, now I'll need to check that I _actually_ got the updated model I'd ordered: TL1302X, and not the recalled unit (TL1302). I'm offsite today.*** (See: https://www.scotchbrand.com/3M/en_US/scotch-brand/tl1302-laminator-recall/) Otherwise, the unit has worked adequately on the two 9" x 11.5" [3mil], and one 9" x 14.5" [5mil] pouches I've run thorough it so far, so you get another star for that... It's too soon to tell if the machine is well made. (As reviews on reliability have been all over the place, I paid for purchase protection. Time will tell.) If given the opportunity, I'll update this review regarding 1) reliability, 2) confirmation that I received the correct model, and/or 3) Walmart's response to shipping an undisclosed open-box product. I'll gladly give a five-star rating - but only when earned.

Very Disappointed. I explicitly followed all of the directions. The main problem is that the laminating machine did not laminate. The item I was laminating would be somewhat laminated when it came out, but it quickly came apart from the item that was sent through. I tried sending the item I was laminating back through but it was no better. I had to purchase self laminating sheets to complete my project.

This laminator does not seal. The pouches initially look like they have sealed but after you cut your item out it unseals and doesn't stay laminated. I would not recommend this product.
