Great product and easy to use. We used the protective wrap to send gifts and they were delivered in perfect condition. We like the fact it's recyclable and less dense than bubble wrap.
You might need to wrap it around more than you would if using typical bubble wrap but since this is recyclable, I prefer to use this. With enough wrapping around it protects perfectly. I was skeptical but it did work very well.
This is an interesting product. I wish that the creators of it would put out more useful videos on how to use it all the videos this is an interesting product. I wish that the creators of it would put out more useful videos on how to use it. All the videos show spherical objects that aren't very breakable to begin with wrapped up like a ball. When you're wrapping something that's not spherical, it's harder to get all parts of it protected and have confidence that you've done so. I found that with one roll of this, I could wrap 5 1/2 wine glasses adequately. It seems to me that you have to use more of this than bubble wrap rather than less. But I LOVE that this doesn't add plastic to the environment. In that way, it's a great improvement. But in order for the protection to work, you have to have several layers on every part of the object. It was very difficult for me to tell when there was enough packing. I do think that as you use it, it becomes easier to use.
This works great. Perfect for wrapping cups and dishes. It's far cheaper than bubble wrap and takes up less space in a packing box while providing the same protection. It's also easier than bubble wrap to transport before use and dispose of after. 4 stars instead of 5 for this specific product because this brand is more expensive than off brand, for no real reason. The off brand works just as well.
It's probably just me, but I couldn't figure this stuff out. I kept ripping it apart... from pulling too hard. I wound up using it, but not the way intended. I just tore off pieces to wrap up dishes then boxed up the dishes. Used Amazon brown paper or newspapers would do just as good, in my opinion.
I decided to try this since it seemed more environmentally friendly than the bubble wrap. It was dreadful. It takes extra time to pull it apart, it tears when you don't want it to, and it does not stay in place. If you are wrapping and item and laying it in a box on its side and stacking that way it probably works fine. I was wrapping pieces in a variety of sizes and shapes and setting them upright in the box. Every time I tried to slide something down into a space the wrapping would slide up, on both pieces, and I would have to start over again. Just didn't work for me.
For packing fragile items, It basically gets the job done at a lower cost than bubble wrap. However, I was in a hurry trying to pack fragile items. The paper must be pulled very gently (to make the sheet go from 2D to 3D, so it works like bubble wrap) or it will rip into pieces too small to use. Once pulled, the edges sticking up are fine against glass but sharp on skin. I didn't realize until later how many tiny paper cuts I had on my hands. There's another similar brand out there that pulls to make a much softer surface. If you're stuck with this, wear gloves. Otherwise I recommend bubble wrap, foam sheets, or crumpled paper instead.
This is the worst packing material I have ever used. Don't waste your money. It was very difficult to use, and slips off the item you are trying to wrap. It tears very easily, leaving unusable bits. And after stretching it simply flattens out and actually leaves very little more padding than would a piece of newspaper. I bought a pack of three and was already using it before I realized how terrible it was, but I have spent three boxes worth trying to perfect my technique and it's still total garbage.
This product cannot replace bubble wrap. It's very difficult to use- you have to stretch it out for it to expand and provide “cushioning”. It does not stretch out well and flattens itself back out. It rips easily. I don't feel it's going to protect my stuff.
I didn't find an ease of use. When I tried to wrap an item the wrap kept tearing. In the second photo, I was trying to show you that it would not lock either. It's advertising you don't need tape but you do. And finally, I just don't feel like it'll protect my items and I know I'm going to have to order some bubble wrap. I really don't know how they say. It's better than bubble wrap and you have to use less. It's less wide so it doesn't cover the whole item so I found this a thorough waste of money. For $22, I want my money back.
