Scotch Desktop Tape Dispenser, Black, Holds 1" Core Tape, 1 Dispenser

My kids are constantly being creative and in need of tape. This makes it so easy for them to grab their own tape. It sits nicely on the desk and the weighted bottom keeps it from ending up on the floor. The quality so far seems right for the price.

This is the tape dispenser that I bought. I like having my hands free when I use tape. This dispenser makes it easier for me to use tape for what ever I need it for.

Tape dispenser did NOT come with tape. Refills come in packs of 4 or more. I just picked up a regular transparent tape. Defeats the purpose. I don't have time to return stuff (or shop for that matter) so I order everything online. Was really hyped about this item.

There is not enough weight in the base , so as by tried to tear a piece of tape, the whole thing almost flipped over. so you need two hands , which doesn't make it easy to use.

Dont waste your money on it you litterally will be fighting to get a piece of tape it doesnt rip off with one handed ease like the old ones used to i got it to wrap presents for grandkids and if you are holding wrapping with one hand it is impossible to use other hand to get a piece of tape you litterally have to hold the unit because it doesnt have the weight to stay still and then have to try and tear a piece off i will be throwing this in the trash

I will say it's possible I did get a bad one. The blade is horrible. Very dull. It requires two hands to use ( which is still difficult) and defeats the purpose. Not very heavy.

I placed a curbside pick-up order, when I got to the office I noticed that the dispenser does not have the center piece that holds the tape into place. I had to go back and go inside the store to return it at the customer service department.

This dispenser is way too big for regular rolls of tape, its awkward. More importantly the cutter or blade does not cut. Its a struggle each time to cut the tape. I though I could trust Scotch to make a good quality product but really disappointed that this simple product is a piece of junk.

tape does not cut off easily. must use 2 hands to remove tape.very disappointed in this dispenser.

Not only In the picture apears rhe dispenser with a tape, but also in the Product Details says: Includes 1 dispenser in black and 1 roll of tape. I only received the dispenser, there wasnt any tape.
