[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a a great product to have on hand. I have it handy to use when needed. I would recommend this tape to have handy. you need this tape. I like the width for this tape, works with my painting needs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Scotch Heavy Duty Masking Tape 2020+ totally free from Discover 3M Community for trying out at home and providing my honest reviews in return. This Heavy Duty Tape is designed for use on vinyl, carpet, metal, and plastic, which has 3-day clean removal leaving behind no damage or sticky residue This amazing Scotch Heavy Duty Masking Tape has a strong adhesive and bonds aggressively, yet has a smooth unwind, which I love. This tape holds to surfaces for up to 3 days and then removes easily without leaving any sticky residue behind. I love using the Scotch Heavy Duty Masking Tape for all my household DIY Projects that I have already recommended it to several of my friends and family who loves to do DIY Projects at their homes, and many of them have already purchased and used it, and love to use this tape very much.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really top quality masking tape -- it's sticky enough to do projects that require masking tape (like taping off stripes to paint on a wall) but it's not so sticky that it pulls paint off the wall when you remove the tape. I don't really understand how it works because it's nice and sticky yet not TOO sticky. I even stuck it on a piece of copy paper and it didn't rip it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a free sample of Scotch Contractor Grade Masking Tape 2020 to use with my next painting project. It works like a dream to keep detail paint from spreading onto the taped surfaces; especially important when painting in the kitchen next to the built in stove. Highlight? Easy to remove with no sticky residue left behind. Perfect product for do-it-yourself home projects with paint!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this masking tape a few weeks ago. So far I have been impressed. The masking tape sticks well to hang things on the wall. When no longer in use it easily is removed from the wall and does not leave behind a residue. I would recommend this product to anyone looks for a great masking tape! It gets the job done.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch knows how to make tape - whether it is transparent tape of masking tape! This tape is great for SO MANY THINGS! I have used these to label boxes and folders. I have used them to divide up my whiteboard. And they stay!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [Employee of 3m-scotchblue] I received Scotch Contractor Grade masking tape free of charge to review. Masking tape can sometimes be too cheap to use, but this performed as it should. I came off the roll easily, stuck well and came off easily when the project was done.
I own a painting business. Been doing it for 13 years now. This tape is hit and miss. I used the 1, 1.5, and 2 inch sizes. I normally order this stuff by the case. Lately it seem like a lot of them are slivering. After about 5 minutes I just give up and throw the roll away. Ive seen that if it slivers once, it will continue throughout the whole roll. And some of the rolls will leave just some adhesive behind after just 1 day. I'm talking about interior jobs. Certainly not a 3 day clean removal. Overall the tape is just barely decent. Hit and miss on quality for sure.
Junk. So thin you can't get it off the roll without tearing
I am so frustrated....I've pulled half this roll off trying to get ONE SINGLE COMPLETE PIECE....It keeps coming off in small triangular pieces that I've had to throw away..... Total waste of money...I'm an artist. I use tape all the time. This is terrible tape
