Scotch Mounting Squares, 1/2 in. x 1/2 in., Black, 64/Pack

I first got these as samples, and at first i thought they won't hold for long. But you know what? They never ever fall off, I had to actually pull them out to take them off. It was pretty sticky! But not that sticky to damage my photo or my wall. Love them :)

I have used these before on a painted wall and they were excellent. I was a little worried when I used them to put up a poster in my child's room on a polished wooden wall, but it was no problem at all. These are a great product and I will be buying them again. Living in a rental means that I need to buy things that don't leave a mark and can be taken down easily and these are just great.

Being an artist I have used many different foam tapes and squares and shapes and by far the Scotch brand is the best and is seriously the only brand I will ever buy......my work is really important too me and do not want it ruined by cheap and nasty foam tape and Scotch just works everytime :D

This product is great for anything you need to stick to a wall, door, etc. The product has great adhesion and it's good to hide away cables, etc. from all your electronic devices that just look messy when they're all loose.

this definitely holds but still removes paint from the walls

This product required tweezers and way too much of my time for each little cmXcm square, then immediately fell off the wall after application. The most frustrating product because it sticks SO WELL to the black liner, you expect it to be the same on the wall, but it instead just falls right off. Not sure if I got a bad batch or something, but I definitely will never buy these again regardless.

These removable mounting squares are so difficult to get the second side (black side) off. My wife and I tried 10 of these and could only uncover both sides of two. Even tried a knife. No luck. The ones we got did not hold very well. Never will buy again.

Removing the backing from these is an exercise in frustration. If there's an easy way to do it, I have yet to figure it out and there's absolutely no helpful info on the packaging. Would it really be so hard to put a little extra on the back which hangs off to facilitate removal. Yeeeesh.

These were recommended to me by a coworker. She noted using them for decor and liking them. So, I used these to put up some decor. When I started packing to move and needed to take them down, the squares completely destroyed the wall. Held up my decor, but will not use these again because the damage done is not worth it. Nail holes would have honestly be better than having to do the drywall and painting for this repair. Clearly the coworker that recommended them never had to remove them.

I purchased this product today. I would give it zero stars. As another review states, the black backing is virtually impossible to remove which makes the product useless. Scotch should be embarrassed to have approved this for sale.
