Scotch Precision Stainless Steel Crafting Scissors, 8", Pointed, Red & Gray

I love these scissors. the action is really smooth and they're nice and sharp. the package claims they have a lifetime warranty which was a good selling point, though seeing how well they work right now I can't imagine ever needing to use it. I recently purchased a different name brand pair of scissors, and the action wasn't nearly as smooth. I think I'm going to return the other scissors - these are way better! another bonus - they're ambidextrous in case you happen to have a lefty in your household like we do.

Recently I had to hem a dress with a very wide hem, which involved a lot of pinning and cutting. These did the job . I'm no seamstress mind you but occasionally need these around- they probably have other uses besides cloth and paper, they are definitely sharper and heavier than regular scissors. These are labeled crafting scissors so no doubt they are used for other materials. When you open and close them, they seem not tight but more securely put together than the looseness of regular scissors and that is likely one of the factors they are good at cutting heavier materials. I don't know how often I will use them but I'm happy I have them in case I do, I figured they would be not as quality as the ones my mom had, but I think they are actually better.

Not sure what happened, but the first pair I ordered worked a short time and then became loose and I was unable to get them to stay together tight enough to cut correctly, but as usual, Walmart came through and sent a replacement. It's been several months now and I use them all the time and they're working fabulously. I love cutting wrapping paper or anything as they just glide right through and cut so clean and nicely! I could not believe how inexpensive they were - I definitely recommend these scissors!✂️

These are sharp! Got them in preparation for Christmas but used 1 pair already to cut zip ties. They worked great!

As a teacher that cuts out many art projects, these scissors are great! Can go through 5-6 sheets of paper at once depending on thickness. Very sharp.

I have used Scotch Precision scissors for many years as they work well for most household uses. I mainly use them for office work but in a pinch I've used them for some craft persons. Good scissors for daily use.

i did purchase this item but left it in the grocery cart outside and someone took it. so i don't have this item 😭 can it be replaced?
