I've been buying a roll of rough surface painter's tape about once per year for the last decade. I first used it to tape around the edges of a small single-step side porch surrounded by matching concrete, so that gardeners and other workers would not trip and fall due to not noticing the porch was higher. It worked very well for that! And I've used it for taping down a long electrical cord to cork flooring, to prevent tripping during the installation of new windows. Now, my 7-yr-old "inventor" grandson artistically uses it often for creating buildings and contraptions out of used cardboard and other recyclables. It's easy for him to tear off and quickly apply, all by himself. And I use it to firmly hold paper and canvases in place while my heavy-handed grandkids draw and paint at their wooden art table.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is my go-to, never-fail. It works on everything! I have never had it bleed, even if I wasn't as careful as I should have been.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the only tape I found to adhere to my stucco walls. I did try a couple of other tapes I had leftover from another project but with little success. If you have texture surfaces or a material that does not lend itself to being taped. Try this tape before you give up or better yet purchase it first. You won't be disappointed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can't say enough great things about this tape, even held up in the heat. I live in the desert. I was prepping cinder block walls to paint, applied the tape & then couldn't get to the painting for a couple days. The tape was still holding and no bleed through when I did paint & when peeled off I had nice straight lines.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch Masking Tape for Hard-to-Stick surfaces is a great product. It can be used either inside or outside and adheres great to any surface. It doesn't come off until you take it off which is a plus to doing any home project. I will always use Scotch products because it is one of the very few names worth paying for.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] paint is great for masking off sections of stucco around windows and metal pipes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband had the high school kids work on his old ford tractor but they couldn't get it into the paint shop and had all the new parts already put on so my husband wanted to spray paint it. If it hadn't been for the ease of putting the newspaper and taping it around the engine parts he could have never of gotten it done. Painting it by brush would have taken a long time and wouldn't have looked right. The tape made all the difference in holding the newspaper in place.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a mom with a 5 year old who's able to amaze me daily with her knowledge and newly learned skills. In August, she started kindergarten and we moved into a new neighborhood. She wasn't as excited as I'd hoped she'd be, but after 3 days of her starting, I was accumulating a stack of artwork. Instead of trying to squeeze them onto the fridge, I used a 10ft long hallway to display every painting, drawing, sketch, and computer image printout she handed me. (Along with a description which she's always intricate and creative.) This is the same hallway wall shared by my 2 teenage brothers' rooms. This Masking Tape is absolutely amazing. My collage is minimally taped, yet no one can tell because every paper stays fully stuck on this hall of painted paneling. Best name brand masking tape I've ever used by far. Would totally recommend to family and friends.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had do some painting on some cinder blocks in my basement. The tape stuck great to the blocks themselves. Had a slight issue as the tape went over the grout lines, but once I applied extra pressure, it stuck just fine.
