Easy to apply to my artificial flower arrangements and dries quickly. I will see how well it repels dirt from them over the next few weeks.

I just purchased a decoration for outside. To keep this item in good condition I decided to buy a water shield product. I feel scotchgard is a reliable and reputable company. And I am proven right. I recommend this product to keep pricey items as long as possible.

It is a trusted brand that protects my projects

I think these ScotchGard sprays do help, but they don't help as much as I wish they would. Still, they do help repel water and provide protection against damp surfaces. They can't handle a lot of water, though. So far, they are one of the only brands I've found that makes this sort of thing, and ScotchGard has a good reputation for high quality products. I hopve eventually that they will be able to make something stronger that can offer even more protection against liquids %26 stains. I think one of the biggest downsides (other than the expense) is that this stuff absolutely reeks. I feel like it's probably not a good idea to use it very often or in closed spaces.

Walmart substituted a fabric water shield product for a temporary spray adhesive product. Made no sense-2 totally different product, different uses. Refused substitution

I needed Scotch-Guard for outdoor cushions, which, instead of substituting the Scotch-Guard sun and rain, I received a fabric water shield (which is for craft material) I went to Walmart and found exactly what should have been substituted.
