Nice scampi taste

Jacquelyn January 11, 2025

It is very delicious . Nice scampi taste but slightly too much sauce. Shrimp are very tender and tasty. Easy to prepare in just 4 minutes. Pasta was good and not too soft. Very filling for dinner for me. Will purchase again.

A little bit of Italy and heaven.

Roberta September 19, 2024

As you age, you still want a good, hot meal. I've seen bad reviews on this Shrimp Scampi, and I don't understand why. The pasta is great, it is seasoned to perfection. I hesitate to leave a review, because I don't want anyone else purchasing. I'll take them all. Stores need to order more. I would purchase more if it was in stock

Yum Yum! Good sauce, decent amt of shrimp, 10/10!

Lynne May 31, 2025

I came across this whilst I was looking for my usual generic shrimp scampi, and based on the reviews, I thought, "Hey, I'll give it a go!". YUMYUMYUMYUM! The closest I've had to this good of a taste was at a medium-to-high end Italian restaurant. Great tasting (did I say that already? Well, it bears repeating!), a nice amount of shrimp, good toothsome texture for your belly, %26 it's great for a lunch or dinner! (DEFINITELY better than one of those 8 oz of noodulz cup things) I gotta buy more. And more. And spread the word.

Restaurant Quality!

Giselle October 4, 2024

I was so happily surprised to find this frozen meal to be so good! The quality is great, the seasoning is perfect, and the amount is just right. I personally like to heat it in a saucepan and add extra chopped tomatoes and some parmesan cheese.

I was shocked that the shrimp was not already cooked. I added black pepper, garlic powder, and butter. 8 tastes the shrimp it was okay like actually good! I was just shocked at how it came with the shrimp not cooked and it actually steam cooking will warning it up the pasta wasn't over done ! will be buying again!

The heating instructions are not optimal, leaving shrimp overcooked and rubbery. The sauce is watery, and the pasta is very undercooked. I can't even call it al dente. I suggest removing the shrimp and microwaving pasta and sauce for 6 minutes, stirring frequently, and adding the shrimp in the last minute of cooking. I also added extra garlic powder. The taste is not bad, but the portion is really small. I'm a small person, 5'3", 100 lbs with a normal appetite. I had this entree and a salad, and I was still hungry. IMHO, the price is way too high for what you get.

Shrimp Scampi ???

James April 14, 2026

there was tomatoes in it ! I have never heard of anyone ever putting tomatoes in shrimp scampi. it tasted very nasty and I ended up removing the tomatoes only to find out there are only about 3 very tiny shrimp that are rubbery feeling ! the sauce tasted rancid so I threw it in the garbage ! this was a huge disappointment... I would give this 0 stars if I could. I will never buy this again.....

Rubbery Texture%26Tomato Forward

Abigail May 4, 2026

very weird flavor never had a scampi that was so tomato forward or honestly had tomato at all... I was expecting a garlic butter flavor and instead got a strange slightly spicy tomato flavor. don't recommend. noodles also had a gluey consistency and shrimp were rubbery very disappointed 😞

never again

HEAVYMETAL April 26, 2026

it's probably the worst scampi I ever had. my sister and I tried it and yuk. some strange flavor like plastic. and it's smaller and more expensive than the other frozen bowls we buy.

AWFUL

Suemac52 February 23, 2026

i'm so incredibly disappointed in this shrimp scampi. The texture of the noodles and the shrimp texture were fine. What was not fine was the taste. I love shrimp scampi, this tasted horrible. I don't understand. It wasn't anything close to what it stated it would be and they're added advertisement of being produced by two guys from Maine makes it even more sad. I'm sorry this is awful.
