Scott Shop Towels are thick, durable and very effective for cleaning up grease, oil and spills. The quality feels much better than regular paper towels, and they hold up well even when wet. They are lightweight, easy to use, and great value for garage, car and household cleaning tasks.
Scott Shop Towels (the classic blue ones) are absolute beasts for all the messy jobs that regular paper towels just can't handle. These heavy-duty, textured towels are super strong and absorbent—whether you're wiping up oil, grease, paint, solvents, dirt, or spills in the garage, workshop, kitchen, or even during car detailing, they hold up without shredding, falling apart, or leaving lint behind. They're thicker and more durable than standard paper towels, so one sheet does the work of several, and they rinse clean and reusable if you need (though disposable is fine too). They tackle everything from engine grime and tool cleanup to household messes like paint touch-ups, pet accidents, or big spills without disintegrating or soaking through immediately. The shop-roll style (with the easy-tear perforations) makes dispensing a breeze, and they're lint-free enough for polishing or wiping glass/metal without streaks. No harsh chemicals in the towel itself, and that classic rugged vibe means they feel pro-grade without being overkill for everyday use. I've got a roll in the garage, under the sink, and in my cleaning closet—total lifesaver for tough jobs where you need something that won't quit. 5/5 stars—if you're tired of flimsy towels that disintegrate mid-wipe, Scott Shop Towels are the upgrade you need!
They have a texture that mimics fabric. While a microfiber cloth traps dirt (but then you have to wash it, accumulating bacteria), the Scott towel lifts and retains grease, oil, and chemicals, allowing you to dispose of the problem completely once the job is done.
A must have for any and all shop messes. These are pretty much the paper towels you use in home but much more sturdy. They tear off a roll and absorb thick liquid like oils and heavy degreasers with ease. Once used you can dispose of them which makes them easier to clean and also are cheaper than using terries or towels.
Great utility wipes Always on hand for multiple projects and when I clean my charcoal grill. They are tough and usually only need one or two of these sheets to get the job done.
I backpack and read where a guy said use this instead of toilet paper while backpacking. I was like what?? Sounds awful. I took the advice, cut one towel up into 4 sections figuring how many sections I would need per day and used it as TP. Works great for the following reason. Easier to repackage in a zip lock bag, doesn't disintegrate if a few drops of rain gets into the bag and its stronger. This product also has multiple other uses while on the trail. Used it two years in a row now and it works great. Its the only brand that is not rough and works for my purpose.
During this crazy time I bought shop towels because I couldn't find regular paper towels. I fell in LOVE with them. They are so thick and you can even rinse and reuse. However, before I more can they be used in the kitchen like regular paper towels?
I am an artist and use these towels everyday. They are the best. You had in the packaging years back these great blue paper towel hangers and I loved them. Is it possible for me to get some??? They had a single hanger and can hang on my easel. I really want to replace mine.
Love using these towels for all types of shop usage. As a professional knife sharpener these work great and leave a nice lint free finish. I also use them when changing oil or working on my car, they're strong than regular paper towels and work for a variety of different applications.
These are great for shop rags for grease or engine parts. They are thick enough to be reusable for a short time cleaning wet surfaces and letting the towel dry out and easily disposable. They are the right job for shops but not as reliable as an everyday paper towel but still great for the shop.
