Have been usinbg Scots 4 Step Program for about 10 years My lawn is the thickest, greenest and non-weed or crabgrass lawn in the entire neighborhood. Love the program!!
We just used this Step 2 on our lawn, after Step 1 earlier this spring. The rapid improvement was remarkable! The much-hated pesky weeds started drying up and withering away in no time; and, after a rainfall the following day, the grass was a new brilliant shade of green! Last year we used a lawn-care service; this year, we're doing it ourselves w/ Scott products -- cheaper, and we are happier w/ the results.
I used the Scott's 4 step program for several years then tried another product one year. The results with the non Scott's product was terrible. Back to Scott's for the next 3-4 years. My lawn looks great!! I strongly recommend the Scott's 4 step program. A bit more $ than other products but well worth the investment.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a small boned female with a large lawn. This product allows me to maintain a beautiful lawn which present my home as upscale and awesome. Very little strength and effort needed. Rewarding results.
Use fertilizer plus weed killer and bam....just after a week, I knew I was on to the right stuff....gotta use it, is all I have to say. It is amazing and my lawn looks great. Scotts products are fabulous.....its a win win situation every time. Thank you Scott's!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied this product to my lawn and I had mixed results. It may be due to the crazy weather we experienced in Indiana this year (very wet spring and very dry summer) so I am seeing more weeds than ever. Might get better results with all 4 steps being applied consistently
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this in the Scott spreader and it was very easy to distribute it until it got close to the end of the amount in the spreader, then it dumped a big pile in one place. That place turned orange and virtually burned the grass away. This is not a fault with the product, just my inability to keep it from happening. The product itself works like it is supposed to, just don't get close to wanted plants on a windy day.
Finally got my lawn where I wanted it and applied Scott's step 2 exactly as the package explained - While leaves are wet and not before any heavy rains. 5 days later my lawn was completely torched. I am devastated. Took me a ton of work last fall and this spring to get my lawn where I wanted. Literally have to start over. I'll never use this stuff again and suggest that nobody does. Absolute garbage.
I have used their 4 step program on multiple lawns for years. This one is the last. Step 2 unilaterally destroyed nearly my entire picture perfect lawn in one foul application. The front, side and back are all dead and patchy as can be. But what area is still perfectly green? My garden yard. Where no Scotts products are applied ever because of the edible plants. And because I purchased it from my local garden center, and not one of their listed agents, I imagine I am going to have to eat every dead blade by myself with no assistance from them. Avoid their products.
Killed no lawn violets, barely any clover.Did it in a cross pattern so not to have missed spots. Lawn was dewy and material was sticking to leaves. Not worth the money or time spent.
