I have used several lawn products in the past. I have never noticed any of them made a difference. This year I got this. I used my walk behind spreader. Being skeptical, I put the fertilizer down haphazardly, spacing my rows too far apart. About 12 days later, the error of my ways became apparent as my lawn looked like a zebra - patches of pale grass and weeds and stripes of deep green, weed free luscious grass. That was all the proof I needed. I bought another bag and filled in the undone spots. They were easy to find.
I have been using Scott’s Triple Action for several years and it is the only fertilizer I use. I have terrible recurring crab grass and clover in my lawn. And Scott’s is the only fertilizer that greens the lawn, thickens the lawn, and still dries up the thick crab grass and clover. This year I applied it the first week of March and three weeks later the lawn literally looks like I just put down new sod. It is so green, lush, and thick. My neighbor even came over and asked me what I did to make lawn so amazing….
I put this down every spring to keep the neighbors crabgrass from infecting my lawn. Works great. I even use it on my flower beds to help keep the weeds out.
Got rid of our professional service because yard never looked good. Tried several companies. My dad used this product and his yard is amazing. We switched to this and now our yard looks amazing also!
Scotts Turf Builder is of a good quality and is as described. We can always count on Scotts for our lawn needs. Thank you so much for being there for all of us and have a phenomenal day!
I’ve purchased Scott’s Truf Builder Triple Action Two years ago I use it to replace all the other spring summer and fall fertilizer and it seems to work great, it works so good my neighbor asked me to take care of his lawn also , I have a Scott’s Spreader so it is pretty easy.
Works great for new seedbed, Has starter fertilizer and a weed pre-emergent. works great if directions are followed
I applied this just as it is directed. I even bought a Scott's brand spreader. This stuff made every weed in my yard grow 4-5 times the size it was. They actually grew so large it made it very easy to pull most of them by hand. I do think the grass was a bit greener afterwards. Weeds were definitely greener.
This product did not perform as it stated. It looks like I fed my yard with fertilizer to make dandelion's grow. What an embarrassment. I followed the direction and did exactly what it said when it said. I used a spreader on the right number also waited until the right time of year. It did not work! The last picture is of my front yard. My husband used a different brand of fertilizer on the front. Look at the difference. No dandelions.
Most of the product was clumped together. I assume the bag was exposed to moisture which made 3/4 of the bag unusable.
