Excellent product. Wonderful manual downrigger. Works perfectly for my small boat.

Great bang for your buck!
Needs a rod holder somehow, even if it was an optional purchase. None of the Scotty rod holders fit this particular downrigger so you have to add another on your boat or use one of your others in conjunction with it. It's also not “1 foot per turn” as Scotty claims. Overall it's worth what you pay but it could be better even for a few dollars more.
