Definitely has a jalapeño kick of spice, but perfect balance of crunch! I love tuna, and really enjoyed this.

This is my favorite flavor of Scout snacks. It has a very spicy flavor so use the seasoning sparingly. However, the flavor is really good and the tuna seems high quality.

So I wasn't sure what to expect but was intrigued... it's actually fantastic! The tuna is really high quality and the pouch of crunchy stuff is delicious. It makes a lot, so I would think of this more as a small meal because it's really satisfying with the different textures and flavors. I was worried it would be too spicy but it's actually not - just a little heat at the end of the bite but the tuna tempers it. Really good !

I read some mixed reviews on this. Some found the add in too spicy. Some found the texture bad even suggesting the presence of fish bones in the item. I found the flavor quite spicy, but not too spicy. It does say jalapeno after all. But the texture negative for me was real. There was a twig of some kind of herb or spice. There was nothing "twiggy" listed, like rosemary. The spice and crunch come from chilies, pumpkin seeds and our old bar friend corn nuts. Amazingly, the crunch blend is all listed: no vague "spices" or "chilies" or "natural flavors." Be aware: there's an awful lot of olive oil here keeping the meal pretty moist. BTW, bring your own fork.
