Good product
I have used this product for years, ever since I learned how easy it was to scratch DVDs. Was happy to see it was still being sold. May lose some recorded areas. Disc will be usable but use it for secondary recordings that you can afford to lose, just in case. My experience is that once a DVD is scratched, it will scratch again. Have not used it on CDs.

I tried using this item to try to remove scratches off of a dvd that wouldn't play. I followed the instructions exactly as what it said to do and it didn't work on the dvd that I tested this item with.
