I have tried many different polymer clays and much prefer Sculpey 3 over any other in my classroom. Students also feel that it is easier to work with and holds up better.
A great way to start working with polymer clay. Nice variety of colors. The feel is as it should be . Will be great for making "canes", beads and jewelry.
My grandson likes making things with play dough. He lets them get hard so he can paint them, but they get hard and crack. I came across the polymer clay and let him try it. He loves it. He can now make something, and I bake it, then he paints it. The day I gave it to him he stayed the night with me and spended the night having lots of fun.
I got this for my 8 year old "creative" grandson. He immediately began making shapes and mixing colors, then we'd bake it (275 degrees for 17 min). He really came up with a dinosaur that is fantastic!! He even made a candy cane for the tree. The clay does not dry out until baked. It does not crumble or flake off on the floor like play dough. I bought it for Christmas but since he was spending the Thanksgiving holiday with us, I gave it to him. Hours and hours of entertainment, away from the t.v. Yeaaaaa!!!! A great product with many many colors to choose from or mix. When it's all, he'll get more!! I would recommend this product to anyone.
it's a little on the expensive side but it is amazing quality clay and i love how vibrant the colors are and how easy it is to work with.
Best brand clay out there. My kids love it for art and crafts.
I bought this to make some Christmas ornaments for my granddaughter. I used this several years back, this is still easy to use and colors are terrific! The figures are a replication of one of my favorite illustrators, Michael Hague. They are from a Christmas song book she loves. I have a lot left and will create some of my own. Sculpey clay gives me some great ideas!
The clay was easy to work with and the box contained enough clay for many projects. Will order again!
Sculpey clay is the best! It is easy to work with and holds its shape well, then it bakes up very easily while maintaining bright colors. We use it for all our clay projects.
