Not great for fine hair.
I have straight fine hair, and these don't hold as well as other clips I've had in the past. They sit a bit loose and slide around easily. I will have to keep looking for an alternative. They might work for thicker hair, but they weren't for me.

Holding power ok, not great
They're cute little clips. The holding ability is so-so, but then again I have fine, slick-textured hair, and barrettes do tend to slide around on me.
