Scunci Metal Snap Hair Clips, Brown, 12 Count

The Scunci metal snap clip barrettes are great for holding back stubborn strands that are just a tiny bit too short to catch in a ponytail, and refuse to stay put with just hairspray while you transition from one style to the next. They hold better than bobby pins, and the brown camouflages well with brown hair.

I love these clips. It can be hard to find ones that work with my hair and that stay in place throughout the day. These do both of that. I also like that they are brown so they blend with my red hair a little better than the black.

I have thick hair so these are ok, I believe they'd work fine on thinner hair, though, they tend to not hold my hair as well as I'd like them to.

Out of a pack of 12, 2 of the clips could not be closed so they weren't usable after removing them from the card. There were 2 other clips that were adhered to the card somehow, so after removing them from the card some of the brown coating flaked off. That's 4 out of 12 that were defective unfortunately!

Ugh, if not for the awful rivets (screw thingies), these clips would be just right from color to size to feel. HOWEVER…the rivets on one side of the clip catch your hair, tangle the strands, and it's almost impossible to free your hair without breaking it. Maybe they'd be better on short hair that's already slicked down with absolutely zero loose hairs, otherwise it's a big fat NO.

They gave me the wrong item
