SE WS634-55P 3-Section Natural Wood Walking Hiking Stick

It is a little taller than expected, but I love it. It seems sturdy and is very nice looking. It has a high gloss finish, nothing that a high grit sand paper and a coating of a matte polyurethane couldn't fix if it is not your thing. I had ALL of my B12 deplete in 2011 which affected my balance and this is just what I need. I don't need to put weight on it, just need it to help balance me out. Just realized there is a sharp tip under the end piece for softer ground. My daughter has claimed my spare one. Excellent buy!

Gorgeous! We wanted to get hiking sticks that are easy to store. These are beautiful and high quality. They come in 3 sections screw together and they appear seamless. The price is perfect for a beginner casual hiker.

I just got it and have been practicing using it. I love it! It is a little taller than I wanted, but it works great!

It is quite light. A handle is polish wood. Good quality.

Long story short, I'm disabled with bad back, have many canes, but ended up getting carpal tunnel in both wrists from putting so much pressure on my cane with my wrist in that position. Very painful. Doc said no more canes. What to do, tho - need support while walking. Around my yard I sometimes use tall sticks and that gave me the idea of a walking stick. This one was cheap enough, under $15. I hold it in a different position so that it doesn't hurt my wrist as a cane did. I don't like the shiny finish on this, though. Wanted something more muted. But hey, it serves the purpose. Maybe one day I'll take the time to perfect one of these sticks I have around my yard as well. This hiking stick screws together like a pool cue. Thought that was neat. There's a rubber 'cane tip' on the bottom. Don't know if it can be replaced with something else.

Purchased this because it can be broken down and transported in luggage on an aircraft or train. I also needed a new walking stick for my collection of metal stick emblems from other trips in Europe and here - that stick does not break down. We will see how sturdy it is next summer. A recommendation is not possible because it has not been tested under actual conditions.

Nice wood. Great potential. Poor quality joints. They use random pieces and join them. Don't match the wood pattern. Not like a single pole cut into 3 pieces would match. Diameters don't match. Gaps in the joints. The top handle section is significantly larger than the middle section so it was whittled down to very roughly try to match. Took it down about 3/8” diameter but did it over the bottom inch so it bells out at the joint. Left it rough sanded and unfinished. Also has splintered grip not sanded smooth, I will add rubber washers at joints to fill gaps and reinforce joint so it doesn't fracture. I will sand the lower joint to match each other and make the transition on the upper part smooth and gradual. Also fix the splintered grip. I would have added finger ridges anyway. Oh and stain the repairs to match. So unless you are a DIY guy, spend more and get more. Even for less than $30 I expected more than I got. Won't buy again.

Came in faster then expected. But the bottom part is curved. Im worried about it breaking after a few uses.

If you want to be stared at like you have got three heads, buy this! It is huge and shiny and there is nothing natural about it. I was so embarrassed after using this monstrosity in public (to help me walk when my leg loses feeling) that I rage-broke it. It was too big to actually play pool with so basically this was a huge waste of money.
