Sea Best Cooked Jonah Crab Claw & Arm, 2 lb Bag

After waiting until the last minute on Mew Years Eve to buy stone crab legs, our local seafood market was sold out. I happened to be in wal mart picking up other items when I thought I would look for something similar. I saw these and had never purchased these before, but they looked like a stone crab and ultimately I was desperate. To my surprise, they were DELICIOUS! They tasted no dofferent than the ones we purchase locally. My guests loved them! I only wish I would have bought more than 4 bags :( Try these and you will not be disappointed. I would have NEVER thought of purchasing seafood at Wal Mart before this.

Unless you caught them yourself, these are absolutely delicious! I know seafood. Be careful not to over cook - as with any fish. I grabbed the last package (I bought one at first to try) and wish they had more. That's right folks, Walmart. Steamed them up until just right, heated individual bowls of clarified butter, done! Spectacular!

WOW- Just bought a bag and decided to thaw and steam them for a warm crab and butter dinner. THESE are fantastic-meaty, sweet, hold their heat in those thick shells very well. I steamed 4 at a time for 6-7 minutes then ate those, while steaming 4 more and so on. One bag is perfect for two people or the main portion of the dinner in my opinion. They are fairly easy to crack and the warm rich butter just amps it up a notch. I will definitely get these again. So very sweet-meaty and delicious.

Reasonable price, some other crabs taste so salty but this product is unsalted so i can cook it and eat with my own sauce. Definitely, i will give this product 5 stars.

These are so yummy almost every item anywhere (Walmart, Amazon, Ebay etc.) will have a couple of bad reviews or thumbs down. You have to be willing to try it for yourself, every bag of Jonah's crabs have been nothing but delicious...Give it a try, i would say “ you won't be disappointed but we all have different taste buds. I'm never disappointed by these crabs only time i have been disappointed is when i walk into walmart and they are all sold out.

I am a seafood fanatic and would certainly purchase these again. they cooked well-in old bay seasoning. meaty. having had access to fresh seafood most of my life- this product was nice.

Easy to prepare. Just know there is a bone piece in the claw. Bust still tasted good drenched in butter.

I am VERY experienced in crab meat removal. First time with a Jonah Crab. Difficult to evaluate, so based solely on Flavor I gave a 4 Star review. That said, I did the math: 1. Package 32 ounce = 14 claws Actual 30.3 ounces 14 claws so 1.7oz short. 2. Average claw wt. = 2.17 oz with less than 25% ‘large' 1.5” at claw. 3. Shell only wt.= 19.04 oz +1.07oz processing loss.=66.3% waste Meat only 10.22 oz NOTE: Only able to remove 3 claws intact. Everything else had to be scraped out leaving shreds. At $9.99/pound way too expensive and labor intensive for final few ounces of shredded crab. Will purchase Snow or King in future.

This was terrible! The taste was awful and they were extremely thick shell. I would never buy again!!!

Jonah crab claw and arms are tasteless and disgusting. Its like eating straw as all the meat is separated. Taste like freezer burnt meat. Do not go by these positive reviews and waste your money like i did. I had to throw them in the garbage in fear it would make me sick
