Boater
Thought length would be asset, its not. Pole also doesn't lock in place very well and like most poles takes on water. Retracted it does fine but I really needed length to reach bank , fishing line snags ect. Mostly to push off from obstacles and when extended pole doesnt hold

Looks good but could not extend
I bought this pole because the 3 section size would stow easily on my boat. When I received it I could only get one section to extend. the other was stuck together and I was unable to get it apart. I returned it to Walmart and ordered a replacement which I have not yet received. There are many of these available at lower prices but they are two section and are longer when retracted. I can't say I would recommend this until I see if the new one works. I gave it 2 stars because the small size is a good feature.
