Sea-Maid Curling Iron 1 inch Thermal Brush with LCD Display & Adjustable Temperature Hair Comb for Curls or Waves,Blue

I bought this to replace a curling iron i'd had for probably close to 10 years. I didn't realize how much better my new, sea-maid curling iron would be. The old one took a long time to heat up, this new one heats up it seems within a minute or two. I have fine hair so I choose one of the lowest settings of temperature. You have the option to go up by 5° starting at 265 upwards of 300 and something. 285 Degrees is plenty for my fine hair. I don't have to use the curling iron for more than five minutes to do my whole head of hair and it looks great. Thank goodness the old one died. And it also has a long extension cord. Guessing but I must be at least 5 to 6 feet.

The size is perfect for travel or if you want something small/have short hair. Bought as a Christmas present for my mom. She's only used it a few times but likes it.

The description says it has adjustable heat settings, which is the reason I bought it, but it does not. It has an on/off switch and that's it, so it's just your basic curling wand. NOTE: Some of the comments say the heat IS adjustable, while others complain that it is not. So apparently Walmart is fulfilling this order with two different items.

Like the heating element because it's very adjustable. If not used within a certain length of time it shuts off itself. Safety issue, I know but just not for me.

The item looks well made and is pretty, the barrel size is nice and the overall length and pretty pouch would make it convenient for traveling. However, it did not work as well as I expected. The cord is short and stiff which made it challenging to handle, and the bristles were so stiff that it could not glide through my hair. It continually got stuck and was pulling so I had to unwind my hair by hand to limit breakage.

it does not stay on and it seems to be kindof clumbsy to use.....my other curlers always stay on when the light is on in the bathroom and they go off when the light goes off.....I forget to turn it on now since I am used to not having to do that...i dont really like the feel of this either

The package that arrived was not what I ordered. I told you that immediately. This is the first time you contacted me. I also tried to plug it in a socket, it didn't heat. How do I return it?

It didn't get hot enough for me and it was hard to get it to stay in my hair long enough to curl. However, that was my experience and it may be perfect for someone else. My hair may have been too short for this particular curling iron.

when you use this hair sticks to brush, have to pull it off. I thought because it was a ceramic barrel hair would not stick.
