Seachem Tidal 110 Fish & Aquatic Filter

These are the best filters i have found. Quiet (if water level is maintained) and effective for large African cichlid tank. Easy to remove basket for cleaning filtration sponges etc. Price and free fast delivery is why i purchased from Walmart instead of Amazon.

This filter work very very good and after running it just for a few hours the water in my tank was very clear. For a while I've been looking for a filter to do the job that this one does. I put this filter on my 55 gallon aquarium and in the future I'll be getting another one to run on my 60 gallon tank. I was very impressed with the specifications for the Seachem 110 Aquarium Filter and Jet.com was $20 cheaper than other sites. I'm so glad I bought it. I got the 110gph model for my 55 gal aquarium so I'd have plenty of filtration and it is perfect. I adjust the flow down some so my fish don't get tossed around but I turn it up when cleaning the aquarium and want extra filtration. The large capacity bucket for chemicals is wonderful. I use filter media bags to put my favorite chemicals in (PhosGuard, Matrix Bio, and Purigen) and don't have to worry with trying to fit them in individual compartments that won't hold enough. Wasn't to sure about this product at first but turned out to be great! Actually have 3 of the tidal 110's now.

good filter

It is said that this is the best filter money can buy. It seems powerful and the water is clear but I am constantly netting small debris out that the filter doesn't pick up, little floaters everywhere. Part of the electrical cord is submerged because the motor is underwater, I don't like that. And the filter and motor are in a black box about 6" x 8" that hangs inside the tank, very ugly and hard to hide. I did alot of reseach pior to my purchase and I'm very disappointed and plan to return it.
