Seachoice 71080 26" - 72" Telescoping Paddle

I bought two of these to keep in my motor boat in case of an engine failure. Because they are collapsible they store nicely. They are a bit heavier than I expected.

Perfect size for our boat. Fits right in to the clips in our fuel compartment. Complies with Boater Safety requirements.

Like that it is lightweight and adjustable. Makes it easy to transport.

We bought these to go tubing. We love the telescopic handles. These come in very handy with shallow waters and keeping away from the sides of the riverbeds

This paddle telescopes to a larger size. It is extremely well made and well thought out. It is a grand safety device.

Liked the design for this paddle as it is easy to see (in the case that we need to use it to flag someone's attention) and the handle on the Seachoice is smoother than the similar Airhead brand, so it could be used for quite a while w/ less fatigue. Unfortunately, while otherwise pristine, the paddle arrived with visible internal stress cracks in the plastic and we will be exchanging it to avoid latent failure. We will order another one; hopefully the one we received is not indicative of a broad manufacturing issue and simply one that escaped quality control.
