Seachoice 89936 C-Tug Canoe & Kayak Cart

The C-Tug kayak cart is as advertised. It's easy to assembly or disassemble, though I highly recommend going through the process a few times at home before you take it to the water. It's recommended that you place it near the center of your kayak, and I second that. The first time I used it, I had it near the back of the kayak. That meant I had to lift most of the weight of the boat, and also the cart slipped a little. The next time, I had it nearer the center. The weight was much more even, so that pulling the kayak was almost effortless. And the C-Tug didn't slip. The wheels roll nicely, too. My only nit is that the kickstand is a bit prone to collapsing as I load the kayak. I tightened up the nut for the kickstand, and now it's sturdier.

Plastic parts are sturdy and easy to assemble. Retaining straps took a little thinking and are not well explained but not difficult to figure out. Overall happy I bought it for pedal drive kayak that is heavier than regular ones.

Purchased this one for my new Old Town Topwater PDL 106, works best for my kayak, durable, light weight, very easy to put together and take apart for storage, easy to adjust to your kayaks contour.

I like the cart but the strap could definitely be improved. I have seen where many people get rid of the strap and use their own. Shouldn't have to do that for an item in this price range.
