I've only had it a few days, but it works great! Very easy to just plug in and use. fits in the palm of my hand. The color isn't really blue - it looks more silver. It's silver with a very slight blue cast. I also purchased a red one just like it about 2 months ago. I love it! One is to store my files on, and the other is to back that one up.
Needed storage, so far working great. Was gonna buy Amazon, but if you don't have prime, they make you wait weeks for a delivery. Walmart was cheaper! and faster!!!!!
The Seagate 5TB Backup HD is a compact, rugged package. It is very easy to set up, less than 5 minutes, and operates flawlessly. I will continue to buy this product for my future needs.
I like the color and the size. It's quite and runs at a good speed.
Looks great, havent tried yet.
Exactly as advertised. Hooked it up to back up my P.C. Easy to use and fast backup time. All good.
Literally the worst backup drive I've ever purchased. Broke the DAY the return window expired after only using it for 3 days... 3 DAYS!!! Seagate sucks and makes horrible products. You can't change my mind.
I've never had a problem with portable hard drives until this one arrived on my doorstep. I got it out of the box and connected it to the USB like I did with all the others except this one wasn't recognized by the computer. It didn't show up at all on the disk management scan. It was visible in the device manager under Disk drives, but any attempt to click on it froze the screen. This happened several times and I rebooted accordingly. After checking the Seagate website for bug fixes, I called support. Long story short, not even the support person could do anything. She recommended I return the drive for an exchange. Riiiight.
