Purchased for use with my xbox one x. While its not a top of the line external ssd, for the price it does what i wanted it to do. Faster and more efficient game loading times. Very satisifed.

Great when extra storage is needed. Decently fast when connected through a USB 3.0 or 3.1 (blue USB) port.

This makes a nice fast storage device for files or other things Small size makes it pocket portable

I bought a cable to transfer files off my old computer internal HD to a new machine but it didn't work. I could have saved a few dollars ordering elsewhere, but I was in a pinch so I picked this up at my local store. It's my first SSD. I've used internal/external Seagate drives for years and tend to trust the brand, however, most externals have failed over time. I hope to get better life on this one. In terms of speed, Windows 10 seems slow to copy ANY files, even on the same drive, so I just drag, drop and go do something else. I like the compact size and I'm glad to have the stability of a SSD. I'm using it as an external/scratch drive for my applications on my new computer.

10/10 super fast, small and portable. Just wish the price was a little lower but anything Seagate is good in my book. P.S. Seagate, hook me up w a coupon.

It worked fine when first plugged in but after I finished downloading what I wanted to put on it, I tried to open the content and suddenly my computer could no longer see the drive at all. I even plugged it into another computer and it couldn't see it either. This drive didn't even last 5 hours. Don't chance losing all your files, buy another brand.

I bough 4 of these drives. Went home and 1 box was very light ? I checked each box only to find 1 box was opened seals were broken and NO USB wire in box, so I looked at the drive to see where USB cable plugs into drive , the hole was covered by a white plastic strip NO GUTS inside the plastic drive box. Called store NO answer , call electronics NO answer ! I was able to get my money back.

I wish I could give this hard drive zero stars. I bought this to back up my files before selling my computer. This hard drive kept disconnecting. It was impossible to copy any files. Same when I try to delete the partially copied files. Stay away.

It worked fine, until the USB plug parts broke inside the unit...........could not access anything that was stored on the unit after that! I didn't even have this item 6 months when it broke! I looked up ratings on this, and apparently Seagate makes super cheap and fragile parts for the USB plug in, as it was rated a very bad piece of equipment because of that.

Worst ever back up software. After spending $80 on the device they want another $30 to unlock all the features of the software
