Seakeeper Beach Towel Cotton and Upcycled Marine Plastic, Blue Palm

I love everything about this towel! It has a nice neutral abstract design which goes with almost every decor. It is soft and lightweight, and absorbs water very well. The front side is sleek and smooth, whereas the reverse side is made of looped materials that absorbs the water quickly. The biggest appeal for me is that the towel is environmentally friendly- I love that the towel is made with 20% recycled marine plastic (the remaining 80% being cotton). I was impressed that the hanger itself was also environmentally friendly, being made of thick cardboard instead of plastic (well thought of, designers!). Overall, I really love this towel and appreciate all of the effort this company put into making a product that makes use of waste in a practical way. I will be on the lookout for more towels for the rest of my family!

This towel seems to be a great towel! I was curious when it said it used up cycled marine plastic and I needed a new towel for this year, so I tried it! It's lightweight, not too heavy and really soft. I decided to use it as a bath towel just to see how it feels and to try it out and I'd have to say I'd use it as a bath towel, too! ha! It's been washed a few times and looks the same as when I got it.

I received the striped blue Seakeeper beach towel, which came nicely packaged and displayed beautifully. This beach towel measures 30" by 62" and is made of 80% cotton and 20% Seaquail polyester. This strikingly beautiful beach towel is made with absorbent, durable and ocean friendly upcycled marine plastic. Strong, but oh so soft and just the right length, the colors are bright and the design is lovely. Light weight and dries quickly. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Sea Turtle Conservancy, the world's oldest non-profit sea turtle conservation group. This is a big plus for me and I highly recommend this beautiful beach towel.

I like this towel. It's better than what I was expecting. It's pretty. It has a nice light blue/grayish on white pattern. Like many beach towels, the pattern is on one side only. The fabric is soft. I like the size of the towel. It's light and thin. It's a great towel to take to the beach. I can also use it at home too because it doesn't look too beachy and matches my other blue, white, and gray towels,. I'm unsure of the durability though because I haven't had the towel for long. I did wash it, and I didn't see any loose threads. The towel is 20% polyester, and my guess is that it's more durable than a towel that's made entirely of cotton. That's why I gave it five stars for durability. The attached photos show the towel hung on the cardboard hanger that it came with and then spread out on our queen size bed so that you all could get a better idea of the size of the towel. As you can see, my cats like the towel too. One thing though. I wouldn't buy this towel just because it says that it's made with upcycled marine plastic because it's made with only 20% Seaqual polyester. The remaining 80% is cotton.

I just received my Seakeeper beach towel, this beach towel is a big size 30" x 62" and the material is 80% cotton, that's great for quick drying and 20" polyester. This Seaqual towel is made with upcycled marine plastic, so each towel you purchase a portion of the proceeds benefits the Sea Turtle Conservancy and the price of the beach towel is very reasonable. This is machine washable and tumble dry on low or hang outside to dry. This beach towel is so absorbent and soft and durable. So stock up for the summer and you'll also be helping to a good cause.

I like the size of this towel. Perfect for pool or beach or just to lay out. It also soaks up water pretty well, unlike some other beach towels. The material is soft and comfortable also. The design is elegant and not too loud. Very durable in the washer as well.

When I first saw recycled plastic I was very hesitant. What sold me was the benefit to the environment and sea turtles. I expect hard, scratchy and honestly not soft. WRONG !!!! I love this beach towel. When you feel it, it feels thin and soft. Great size. I used mine for a bath first. It's very absorbing and warm when used for a wrap. Dries fast, pretty print and washes great. I would use these for my shower. I'd love to see washcloths and hand towels in this material. This will be the first thing I look for when it's time !!

This is not one of those super cozy, thick beach towels l have used before. It is much thinner and more like a bath towel. With that, I still think it is great quality. It dries you off and that is what it is meant to do. I actually like that it is lightweight and easy to carry. It is nice to look at also. I would recommend!

When I read that this towel was made with upcycled materials I thought it might not be as soft as I like but I was wrong it is very thick and very soft! It is large and will be great at the beach this year. I like knowing that it was made with upcycled materials because it lets me know I am doing something good for our earth!

I put white clothes in laundry. And I put this towel with whites as well, cz it's mostly white. It stained all my white clothes! I have blue stains all over my whites and its not going away with any whitener. Highly disappointed!
