What's nice with this tripot is leave the straps a little loose then extend the poles and the straps tighten right up to form a peak front and back of the boat.

Good for 18 feet or smaller
I have an 18 foot pontoon and it just fits. I would maybe recommend using 2 of these for a pontoon instead of just one.

Decent poles for what i needed.
These poles were a decent price and quality. They worked to hold up my boat cover on a small pontoon boat. My only complaint is that they tipped over easily when i was getting the cover in place.

cuatomer complaint
I bough and installed support pole on my pontoon boat . Two days later a rain storm came. After storm I checked on boat and found cover collapsed and pole bent double on top rod and sticking through boat cover. now I out the price of pole but also the price 0f boat cover.

It never stays in the up position. It slowly goes down. Its worthless.
