Sealing Wax Sticks - 4ct. by Recollections

Haven't used this product yet but looking forward to doing so to put the finishing touch on special cards and letters!

The sealing wax works beautifully and does not get smudged with smokey soot. It does not harden that fast, so I had time to press my stamp perfectly into the wax. I would recommend using the heavy stand-alone press rather than the lightweight exchangable ones.

Our daughter used this on her invitations for her graduation party. We were told at the postoffice that the wax might come off in their machines. We mailed them, and have been getting confrontation that the wax held up in the postoffice machines. We were really impressed with that. Would totally recommend them.

Great quality, lovely color. I've previously used wax without the string in the middle so it's a little odd but nice. Down a star because it does take a little longer to heat up and melt than in used to, although Mayne that's because it's better quality wax than others. Not a huge problem.

It works welk enough and is serviceable, but it is rather difficult to avoid soot from getting into the was after the first use of one of the sticks from how short the wick becomes. The sealing was beads that you melt in a spoon or the wax sticks for the guns I think are the much better option and easier to work with.

The very first time I used one of these it was great, the wax melted perfectly and I was able to make a nice stamp. When I went to use the same melt again (the wick was much smaller) I found that even when constantly turning it didn't melt nearly as well as the first time.

This was an okay product and if you cannot wait for something to ship then this is fine. However I thought it was more difficult to use than other sealing waxes. It also solidified weird. I was less than impressed with this wax. I did like how it was more matte than others I tried.

Purchased in store, but needed more. Ordered the same colour online. They arrived, but were nothing like the colour I had. Returned to store for refund, but lost just over $15 in delivery and postage.

This wax is terrible. Although it all seems to be these day. I normally buy from Amazon but it's not great quality….this was as bad or worse.

I was excited to try doing a wax seal on my envelopes since decades have passed since I last did it. This wax melted so slowly that drips already on the envelope we're hardening before there was enough to press the seal. Also, black from the flame mixed into the wax.
