Sealy Chill Cooling Memory Foam Bed Pillow with Support Gel, Standard Size

I am a Spark Reviewer for Walmart and was sent a free Sealy Chillu2122 Cooling Memory Foam Pillow with Support Gel in standard size to review. Right out of the package I could tell that I was going to like this pillow. It came in a very nice box (see my picture) and it has some weight to it. The pillow weighs about 5 pounds. I followed the directions and aired out the pillow. I am not sure why it needed to be aired out because it did not have any odors. The pillow has a removable, breathable, pillowcase that is smooth to the touch but has a pretty pattern with bright blue pipped edging. The case has a hidden zipper closure and is machine washable. The pillow and case are cool to the touch and as soon as I laid my head on the pillow, I could feel the coolness. The pillow is about 4 ½” thick which is really nice. It is a memory foam pillow, so it has the give a pillow needs, but bounces back to its form when not in use. I am both a back and side sleeper and the pillow not only stayed cool all night (no having to flip it over), but it was comfortable in both positions. It is the perfect height, so I slept with my body balanced and there was no neck strain. This is a high-quality pillow and I am really enjoying sleeping with it. No more flipping around all night trying to fit a cool spot. It fits a standard to queen size pillowcase since I want to keep the pillow clean and looking nice, but I recommend using a 100% cotton or percale pillowcase so the pillow will keep the cooling feature. Other materials would make it so you don't feel the coolness from the gel in the pillow. I have found over the years that having a good pillow will make the difference in whether I get a good night's sleep.

I have been using this pillow for the past several weeks. With my old pillow I would frequently wake with sore neck and upper back muscles. Until writing this review I haven't even thought about a sore neck! I can feel immediate coolness from this pillow. This was when it was hot out! I really like this pillow!

These are absolutely perfect pillows. I had to buy a second pillow of the same to have a matching set, and I have absolutely no regrets. This pillow is firm, but sleeps very cool. It is a heavy pillow and won't slide off the bed as you sleep. This is comfortable and solid. The fabric and pillow itself is well made to hold up. It is not going to sag or cave in after a few uses. This pillow helps your muscles relax as you sleep.

I have never had a better pillow than this one. The combination of memory foam and cooling is perfection to get me to sleep fast and comfortably. The pillow is very heavy and you would think it may not be very comfortable at first due to the shear weight and size of it. The second you lay your head down on it, the pillow conforms to your head putting it in the natural alignment it should be to prevent you from waking with a crick in your neck or any sort of back pain from sleeping weird. As you move throughout the night, the pillow "moves" with you, allowing you to maintain the perfect alignment. The cooling comfort is beyond awesome! At first, it is like laying your head down on a cool ice pack. The first night, I was thinking my head was wet and it was a bit strange, but after that initial shock, it isn't like that at all. Now you don't even have to flip your pillow over to get to the cool side of your pillow! I love putting my hand under the pillow as well when laying on my side and the coolness on my hand is wonderful. I will never use any other pillow from now on. This is highly recommended.

So far this is the only pillow that has helped my teen sleep better when she has a migraine. It keeps her head and neck supported while also keeping her cool. She says it helps with the throbbing in her head so she can sleep on her side or back and the pillow adjusts to keep the right pressure. She sleeps on it everyday. She prefers it its original covering and hates it when I try to put a pillow case over it.

If one is looking to purchase a pillow which does not give in while sleeping, look no further, this pillow is perfect. My husband likes the feel and strength of this pillow. It keeps its form and not feel moist after sleeping. Sealy is known for its quality.

Wow this pillow really keeps me cool at night. Plus it's a perfect fit for me. I've had 7 back surgeries and two stomach surgery's and I use 3 pillows at night. The 3rd pillow I've had for a while was getting uncomfortable so I needed a new 3rd pillow. This seally chillu2122 cooling memory foam bed pillow with support gel is perfect. Thanks Walmart sparks

The Sealy Chillu 2122 Cooling Memory Foam Bed Pillow with Support Gel is a dream come true. I was surprised at the way it actually felt cool while I was sleeping and I haven't slept so good in a long time. It is very comfortable as well. I recommend everyone to try this wonderful pillow and enjoy a very good nights sleep.

This pillow is a tank, very dense and heavy, not some cheap feather pillow. The gel inside really does keep you a little cooler reducing your chance to sweat. The actual memory foam is a good quality and keeps it shape very nicely. Conforms to you instead of you trying to conform to it which is nice. Not sure if they come in different firmness levels, but I may have gotten a slightly firmer version if one was available.

I've been looking at memory foam bed pillows for awhile and was very excited for the opportunity to try this one from Sealy--such a well-known name when it comes to bedding. The weight of the memory foam pillow is much more than regular pillows. Press your hand against it and the foam springs right back as it should. The side with the Chill Cooling Technology is slightly more firm than the side without. You can feel the cooling effect slightly in a warm room, but if you tend to keep your bedroom on the cooler side, you'll definitely notice the difference as it can actually get cold even using a thick pillowcase over it. I happened to have some back pain this past week and I ended up using the chilly side of the pillow as a convenient cold pack for pain. When I was bothered with my sinuses, I noticed that the cooling side helped me breathe better as well. If you have any kind of shoulder or neck pain, this pillow may help. It surrounds and supports the head without putting the neck at odd angles that can pinch off nerves. My only concern with a memory foam pillow is hygiene. It features a zippered, washable cover, but I wish the entire thing was washable as I like to change out pillows often.
