Now this little bad boy pumps water. The auto feature works perfect although I'm sure you want to make certain it's pretty much straight up and down or vertical. It's always a challenge mounting and aftermarket pump in the bilge. I was able to use the existing mount and riveted the base the pump to the mounting plate. It's still keeps about 2 inches of water in the bilge but that can always be removed when you pull the boat out of the water. If it lasts like my old one which was probably 20 years old this will be a heck of an investment. For the price for automatic bilge pump I would highly recommend!
At a time when we are used to paying alot for very little, here's an exceprion. This is a reliable, well made pump. Easy to install and use. It would be a bargin at twice the price.
It seems kinda small, bu should work fine. Nice and quiet.
This 800 gph pump moves water very fast and for its compact size it is very versatile. I like the idea that the float is enclosed in the unit itself .
Bought this little pump to keep the heavy rains here in S W Florida from filling up my little boat. I first attached a piece of garden hose as the discharge and found it only moved about 80 gallons an hour. I switched to a light flexible washing machine discharge hose and that was what it needed. Big improvement. Maybe 500 to 800 gallons an hour now. I don't have to worry every time it rains now. Good Buy.
Arrived sooner than expected. Just what I ordered and works great.
Worked just like a charm
So far so good. When it needs to pump the water it does and does well.
Great price if the unit functions. After installing in the boat I tested...never ran properly even when the entire unit was under water. Only ran if I turned the unit on its side and the float ball rolled to the top. Manufacturer has no specs on the unit but tells be it should turn on at 2" level. They will send me a new unit and I will uninstall the defective one and reinstall the replacement unit and we'll see what happens!
