Oarlock excellant by design
Mounting points are 90 degrees from each other giving the user a very strong platform that withstands pressure. Sea Sense Oarlocks were placed on a 15 foot sailboat with 9 foot oars.

SOCKET DESIGN
THIS PARTICULAR OARLOCK SOCKET IS GOOD ENOUGH QUALITY BUT COULD BE MADE A LITTLE WIDER AT THE BASE TO MAKE THE AREA WHERE THE MOUNTING SCREWS PASS A LITTLE FURTHER APART

You get what you pay for
These are nice and certainly inexpensive. But after getting them I decided not to use them. I upgraded to a set of oarlocks that were heavier duty.
