When I don't make homemade bread, I just grab anything, but tried this brand %26 wow!! This is one of the better breads on the market! We will only get this brand now, very fresh %26 tastes great!!! They have other items from the brand %26 we plan on trying them, too!

Only 13 grams of carbs per slice!

Jay May 21, 2026

I'm amazed this bread had only 13 grams of carbs per sluce. mMost sliced French bread has 3x as much

Great, but a bit thick

Lisa September 10, 2026

We really like this bread! It's great for toast, and works pretty well for sandwiches. It's sliced a bit thicker than some people might like, especially when making a sandwich, but it holds up well when making French toast with it, so it's a decent trade-off.

Different From The Round Loaf

twinsmoom December 7, 2025

Usually I buy the Seattle Sourdough Brand French Bread in the Round Loaf, sliced. I decided to try this for a change and it's OK but sliced a little thick for my taste. I will go back to the sliced round loaf.

Given to me as a poor substitution, it smells sweet.

Junk. As hard as a rock. Can't even make French toast with it. I thought I'd give them another try. Franz stands for how quality. Need better quality control.
